Is the mesh skirt see-through?
Yes — deliberately, and only where it's meant to be. The ruched front panel gathers into multiple opaque layers, so the area over the stomach and hips reads solid. The sheerness lives at the hem and sides, where it's a design line, not an accident.
Will the plunge hold me, or is it just for photos?
It holds. The bodice is a longline corset band with molded cups, not two triangles on a string. Support comes from the band around the ribcage, so the plunge is decorative and the structure underneath does the work.
Will the ruching make my stomach look bulkier?
The opposite. The gathers run vertically, drawing the eye up and down rather than across, and the high-rise band sits flat with no elastic ridge — the same logic used in shapewear.
Will it fade or go grey after a few swims?
The base is a dense nylon-spandex with colour-locked dye, and the mesh is dyed to match rather than tinted after the fact. Built for chlorine, salt and UV. Rinse cold, dry flat in shade — that's the whole routine.
Is the side drawstring functional or decorative?
Fully functional. Pull it to raise the hem and open the leg line, release it for a longer, softer wrap. The barrel ties lock in place — they don't slip mid-walk.
