That isn't back fat.
That's your bra.

The spill at your underarm. The ridge across your back. The strap showing at the shoulder of a dress that never had room for one. None of that is your body — it's four inches of elastic doing a job it was never built for.

Turn sideways. That's the only review that matters.

The mechanism

Steel at the sides.
Smooth everywhere else.

STEEL RINGCARTILAGE ARCSIDE BONINGVERTICAL STAYFLAT SCALLOPED HEMSNAP HOOK

A standard bra hangs your bust off a single elastic band. All the load lands on four inches of fabric — so it digs, it rolls, and everything above and below it gets pushed somewhere it doesn't want to go.

StayLift moves the load path. The longline body anchors at your waist and carries the weight across your whole torso. A steel ring arcs under each cup and pushes up and outward — not inward — so you get lift without compression. Two vertical stays hold the side seam upright instead of letting it fold into your skin.

Which is exactly why the straps unsnap. They were never holding you up.

Fig. 02 — Back panel, lying flat

Wide, flat, four columns of hook. No elastic left to bunch.

Fig. 03 — Strapless, unassisted

Straps off. Arms up. Nothing moves.

Why this one

Four things a
band cannot do.

01

Lifted, not inflated

Molded foam with zero seams across the cup face. The steel ring lifts from beneath and pushes out, so you get shape instead of a hard round dome. No cup line under jersey. No shadow under silk.

02

Boned at the sides. Not the ribs.

Two flexible vertical stays run down the side seam only. They hold the line upright — they do not cinch a circumference. You can eat a full dinner in this. That's the entire point of putting the boning where we put it.

03

One garment, three jobs

Straps on for the workday. Straps off for the halter dress. The longline body smooths your back and side either way. It replaces the everyday bra, the strapless you don't trust, and the smoother you layer over both.

04

A hem that ends flat

The waist edge finishes in a scalloped elastic that sits level with your skin. Nothing to roll, nothing to fold, no ring pressed into your waist when you take it off at midnight.

Fig. 04 — Under the dress

The dress was never the problem.

Answered directly

The questions
you'd ask a fitter.

Will it hold me strapless if I'm a D cup or larger?+
Yes — because the straps were never the support system. The longline body anchors at your waist and distributes load up through a boned side seam, and the steel ring under each cup does the lifting. A conventional strapless puts all of that on a band gripping your ribcage, which is why it slides. Larger busts are the exact use case this was designed for.
Boning and steel sounds painful. Can I sit through a long dinner?+
The boning is vertical, flexible, and on the side seams only — never across your ribs or your front. It stops the panel folding into your skin; it does not squeeze your waist. There's no corset compression here by design: a bustier that fights your breathing gets returned, and we'd rather you keep it.
Won't the longline roll up or cut in at my waist?+
That's what the flat scalloped hem prevents. Standard shapewear finishes with a thick gripper band, which is exactly what creates a roll and a pressure ring. Ours ends level and lies flush. Size to your true underbust and it stays put — most rolling is a too-small band, not a design flaw.
How do I know my size without trying it on?+
Wear your normal bra size. If you're between sizes, or used to a band that feels tight, go up in the band and keep your cup — the longline distributes support, so it doesn't need to grip to work. Measure your underbust snug and level with a soft tape. Land between two options and our fit team will tell you which to take before you order.
Will the hook panel show under a tight dress?+
The closure sits on a wide, flat, non-elastic panel with four columns of hook spread across it rather than stacked into a narrow strip. That geometry is what keeps it from bulging. It reads as a smooth plane under jersey, satin and knit. Under very thin sheer chiffon you may see the panel edge, as with any structured garment.
When does it ship, and what if it doesn't work on me?+
Orders leave the warehouse within one business day, with tracking sent the moment the label scans. Delivery windows and return terms for your region are shown at checkout and on our shipping and returns pages — and intimates are covered: try it on over a liner, keep the tags on, and message us if the fit isn't right. We'd rather swap a size than lose you to a drawer.

I owe my back an apology

For fifteen years I thought the rolls under my bra were just me. Put this on, turned sideways in the mirror, and they were gone. Not squeezed — gone. It was the band the whole time and nobody told me.

Six hours strapless at a wedding. Zero adjustments.

I'm a 34F and I have never once made it through an event in a strapless without hiking it up in the bathroom. Snapped the straps off, wore it under a halter gown, danced until one in the morning. Didn't touch it once.

Sizing note for anyone in between

Fantastic bra, but read this: I ordered my usual band and it was snug through the ribs. Support told me to go up in the band and keep the cup, and the second one is perfect. Four stars only because I wish that guidance had been louder before I ordered.

Invisible under a satin slip dress

This is the real test and it passed. No cup seam, no band line, no bump where the hooks are. My tailor asked what I was wearing underneath because the dress finally hung the way it did on the hanger.

Wore it through a nine-hour shift

I was braced for the boning to dig in by hour three. It never did — it's all down the sides, not across the front. Took it off at night and there was no red ring at my waist, which has never happened to me in a longline before.

Replaced three garments in my drawer

I used to layer a bra, a strapless I didn't trust, and a smoothing camisole depending on the outfit. This does all three. I've since given away most of what was in that drawer.

The underarm spill is what sold me

The side panel comes up far higher than a normal bra, so there's nothing pushed out toward my armpit in a fitted top. That was the thing I hated most in photos of myself and it's just not there anymore.

Warmer than a bralette, as expected

It's a structured garment, so in high summer I notice it more than a soft bra — the lace side panels help but they're not magic. Worth it for the shape. I wear it on the days it matters rather than every single day.

Eight months in, cups still hold

Hand washed cool, laid flat, worn twice a week since November. No warping, no rippling in the foam, hooks still tight on the same column. I've had bras collapse in six weeks, so this is the note I wanted to leave.

Exchange took four days, no argument

First one was too tight in the band. Messaged them, got a reply the same day with the size to swap to, and the replacement arrived before I'd posted the first back. Painless, which is not what I expected ordering intimates online.

Lift without the fake round shape

I've avoided foam cups for years because they always give me that hard dome look. These push up and out rather than in, so the shape reads like my own — just three inches higher. The sweetheart edge sits flat with no gap at the top.

Bought the second one within a week

Straps on for work, straps off for anything with a neckline. The snaps are metal and actually sturdy — I've taken them on and off dozens of times and nothing has loosened. Ordered a second so I always have one clean.
